What makes us different.

One - to - One

We are different from other childcare companies and here is why. We do not offer a creche service, and we do not care for multiple children at once.

 

What we offer is a one-to-one nanny service for your children, as the wedding couple.

 

Yes, we can care for your guest’s children, we offer the same one-to-one service.

 

This ensures the children are fully involved in your wedding day, whether they are walking down the aisle or being present within photographs. If we did offer care to a number of children, it would make important tasks such as the above impossible. It would impact on the quality of care we want and need to provide for your children.

 

Your children have a vital role to play in your wedding so we know the only way we can provide the right level of care for your family is having a nanny just for them.

Privacy

We believe privacy and confidentiality is key. We feel very strongly about this. We do not share the intimate details of you, your wedding or your children with the world. This is the same for your guests including the home environment and family affairs. We give you the choice before posting any content on social media. As you can see from our social media, we do not reveal the faces of the children or wedding couples on any of our platforms, including our website. All social media is uploaded on different days from when content is gathered and locations differ from live locations to keep our nannies and children safe.

At The Wedding Nanny®, we work very closely with children and their families on a day-to-day basis. It is a legal requirement and our best intention to respect the privacy of each child and their family. Any information obtained by each staff member about any family in our care will be treated in a confidential manner. 


We have several protections in place to ensure that all personal and confidential information is kept safe.

 

Acknowledgement of Private Family Information

Each Nanny at The Wedding Nanny® acknowledges that during and ongoing from their engagement with every family, that they will be exposed to sensitive and confidential information including some of the following confidential items that constitute to each Family’s private information: 

 

  • Children’s and family members’ medical histories and medical conditions.

  • Family relationships and family dynamics.

  • Passwords for retrieval of children from individual settings.

  • Other matters related to each individual family.

 

We ensure every Nanny has an awareness of the importance and expressly acknowledges that if the private family information should become known by any individuals outside the family, such knowledge could result in substantial hardship, loss and damage to the family. Therefore we follow a non-disclosure of private family information and confidentiality agreement where each staff member agrees they will not, during the term of the nanny’s engagement or any time thereafter, directly or indirectly disclose the family’s private information to any entity or any person who is not a member of the family.

 

Procedures

  • Registration forms and personal information about children, families and staff are held digitally and securely. Any paperwork held is destroyed securely after the event.

  • Parents have a direct copy of all signed registration paperwork for their child.

  • Nannies will not discuss personal information given by parents.

  • Each Nannies induction includes an awareness of the importance of confidentiality.

  • Gaining parental permission for any photographs taken of your child/children will be taken and sent directly to the parents/guardians of the child/children in care, on a nanny phone provided by The Wedding Nanny® only and to be deleted at the end of the day. 

  • Any concerns or evidence relating to a child’s personal safety are kept in a secure, confidential file.

  • Ensuring every staff member is aware of and follows the social networking policy in relation to confidentiality.

  • Gaining direct parental permission for any information to be used.
